Volunteering at Poinsettia isn't just about classroom helping. There are 6 different ways your time directly supports our Panthers.
Most parents picture volunteering as classroom helping or event setup. That's part of it — but only a small part. The PTA needs help in six different ways, because Panther families contribute in many different ways.
Whether you have 30 minutes a month or 30 hours a year, there's a place for you.
When the PTA opens a volunteer sign-up, it appears here automatically.
These PTA roles are open for this school year. Interested? Sign up and the PTA will be in touch.
Pick what fits your schedule — on campus, at an event, or from home.
Helping in the classroom — reading with students, helping with stations, assisting teachers with prep, chaperoning field trips.
Helping with PTA events — Jog-A-Thon stations, Halloween Parade setup, Variety Show backstage, Book Fair check-in.
Time spent supporting fundraising — soliciting sponsors, coordinating Dine-Outs, securing auction items, managing the Auction online.
All the work that happens at home or after hours — writing communications, designing flyers, coordinating logistics, managing email lists.
Time serving as a PTA board member or chairing a program. Includes meetings, planning sessions, training, and ongoing coordination.
Time spent advocating for the school in the broader Carlsbad community — district meetings, recruiting new families, ambassadorship.
Check what's open right now, or contact the board directly. Every Panther family has a place — even busy ones.
